LearnWise changelog

Release of April 14th 2025

✨ New Features

🧑🏽‍💻 LearnWise admin roles

We've introduced predefined permission levels in the LearnWise admin dashboard, ensuring stakeholders can access only the information relevant to them. This enables secure collaboration with read-only or limited editing rights, helping protect the assistant's setup. Permissions are managed via Organization > Manage > Members.

↕️ Reorder short-cut buttons
Shortcut buttons in the dashboard can now be easily reordered using a drag-and-drop feature. This streamlines workflows by allowing quick adjustments without deleting or recreating buttons, encouraging more dynamic updates to keep the most relevant actions front and center.

🕹️ Control your course content
You now have more control over the content your assistants use—easily manage which parts of your courses are included as sources for generating answers. Plus, you can configure external tools like Google Cloud, Panopto, or Kaltura to contribute content, giving you greater flexibility and autonomy over your assistant’s knowledge base.

🛠️ Improvements

🏷️ Assistant name and ID displayed

The assistant name, nickanme and ID of the assistant are now displayed at the top of the admin panel when viewing a specific assistant. This helps users easily keep track of where they are working—especially when managing multiple assistants—and reduces the chance of making changes in the wrong place.

🧭 Cleaner navigation
To improve usability, the General Settings page has been split into two tabs: General (for configuring your assistant) and Style (for branding and customization). This cleaner layout eliminates endless scrolling and makes navigation more intuitive.

🪳Bug Fixes

🔄 URL redirect

In the Publish step of your assistant setup, the help URL now correctly redirects to our support documentation at help.learnwise.ai. Previously pointing to an incorrect endpoint, this fix ensures you can quickly access the resources you need.
